Hi, There's a checbox in server definition document in Eclipse that lets you specify if you want it to be stopped when Eclipse's stopped or not. It's Terminate server on workbench shutdown. Don't remember if it's in Eclipse or is it a RAD feature, but certainly it exists in RAD for WAS. It's about stopping a server upon exiting from IDE which is not what you've asked right? As to the way to deploy/undeploy to stopped servers, all of the IDEs I've worked with (NetBeans, Eclipse, RAD, IntelliJ IDEA) have started a server and didn't stop it after the deployment finished. I think most people consider "publish" as "start if needed and run the app". Jacek -- Jacek Laskowski http://www.JacekLaskowski.pl
