This build problem occurrs for me on three machines: Win XP,
Win2000Server and linux.
Thanks to the pointer to GERONIMODEVTOOLS-326.  I applied that patch,
and the build works for me in WinXP and linux.  I did not try to the
Win2000Server environment.
