I'm afraid creating a 2.x branch or thoughts of another JEE5 release
would turn out like the 1.2 release, in that we would never end up
releasing it, especially once we have a few JEE6 preview items in trunk
ready to release as Milestone builds....

1) trunk becomes 3.0-SNAPSHOT and focused on JEE6
2) trunk becomes 2.3-SNAPSHOT, will include some JEE6 technology preview,
but is still focused on being another JEE5 release in 2009
