snapshots for G 2.2 artifacts ?

It seems that there is not much in the way of snapshots available for 
Geronimo 2.2 in the repos.

Was there a reason that fresh 2.2 snapshots were not published to the 
old apache snapshot repo prior to the conversion to nexus?   Actually, 
it looks to me like the snapshots that were published earlier may have 
been removed - Is some nexus issue with having the snapshots available 
from the legacy apache snapshot repo?

Also, are the current build issues the reason why new a complete set of 
snapshots have not yet been published to the nexus repo?
