This is great, Hans.  One of the tasks I have on my to-do list is to merge
Johannes' changes back in.  That may now be moot.  The main concern I had
with what Johannes did was the removal of the ClosureHolder stuff which was
intended to allow the generated XML to be customized.  When I get some time
(not sooner than next week) I'll try to look into that again.  At some point
this plugin needs to be mature enough to handle our project, while still
being simple enough to handle small projects without needing lots of
configuration.

BTW, Johannes had added some unit tests (I think) which are sorely needed.
Did something happen to them?  We need to get tests in place, for one thing
they will be used to determine version compatibility I think.
