I very much resent what you are insinuating here Russell. I interpret your 
wording to say that we are not being good citizens. This is unfair and uncalled 
for.

We (i.e.) have an immediate problem in that the current tools we are using to 
produce documentation have been proven inadequate and we are discussing 
pragmatic ways to solve our  problem.

Idealism and dogma have no place in this discussion.
