I am noticing a significant dislike of the move to Gradle for Android
builds amongst a important group of people in the Android world. I
believe most of the problem is newness and lack of exemplars. I am
trying to get people to send in comments to the Gradle forum but it
won't happen, they will give up on Gradle and return to using Ant.
I think Gradleware, Google and JetBrains could usefully do some
marketing to try and win these folk over.
