Hi,
Hi Björn,

I will try to translate what Tony said.
on the French dev-List [1], Tony Galmiche posted some comments on the new chart.
I have tried to translate them:

1. Didn't understand this completely. Google translated as follows (beach == region?):

For Björn, "beach" is translated from the french "plage" which means also "range". ;-)
By selecting a cell inside the table of the data and by making
"Insert/Chart", the beach [region] of data is not selected as in the version current or identified by a feature into dotted (or blue) as in Excel to show
the beach [range] taken into account.

So, the default range selection when starting the Wizard seems to be different
than in the old chart implementation? But how?
Yes, the blue line showing the range selected does not show-up when the wizard is
launched. To reproduce it :

- click on a cell from the range selected
- launch the wizard

Then, a blue line should appear to show which range has been automagically selected.
Is that clear enought ?

2. Column 3d deep: rounded edges seem to have different (better) value than for
  the other types (non-deep).

Interesting. As noted, I like the (obviously) smaller value for deep charts
  better.
This issue is only that for that kind of chart, the display of lines does not look as
smooth (anti-aliased) as for other charts.

For the other issues, you understood everything I think.

I will now translate an other mail from Tony. Hope this helps

Cheers,
