Hi I installed PDF Import Extension 1.0 and it opened my pdf file as text in OpenOffice Writer rather than through Draw or Impress. I then installed the 1.0.1 version and the same thing happens. In both cases the ASCII Filter Options window popups up and I click OK and meaningless text is shown for example:
%PDF-1.3 264 0 obj 0000000911 00000 n 0000001289 00000 n 0000001627 00000 n 0000001755 00000 n 0000001878 00000 n 0000001998 00000 n 0000002021 00000 n 0000003107 00000 n I'm not sure what this means but it seems the import extension doesn't seem to work.
