Hi Stephan,
Bingo! It is Windows. According to a thread of the discussions beginning with the following article http://www.freeml.com/message/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/0007264 (Japanese EUC-JP)
Shibata, initial reporter, said he had this problem with: WindowsXP Pro or Home; OOo 1.1.4; CANON BJ F850 Upg http://www.google.com/search?q=CANON+BJ+F850
Koga responded that he had no problem with: == no information ==
Kenchinzuru reported that a printer in his work place had no problem with: Windows; OOo 1.1.x; Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C3530 http://www.google.com/search?q=DocuPrint+C3530
A printer driver for DocuPrint C3530 has a capability to specify paper orientation, added Kenchinzuru. It has a UI to allow users to choose one of the orientations, 0, 90, 180, and 270 degree, for the sheets whose width is greater than that of height and vise versa. The printer employs a stapler, sorter, and so on.
Hi Tora,
I guess you're using Windows, right ? Some printer drivers have a problem when using custom paper formats and landscape orientation. What paper format are you using ? Is it directly supported by the printer driver or is it a custom format ?
Stephan
What does "custom paper formats" mean?
Thanks, Tora
