Hi, a few comments on my part

I haven't yet read PDF ref 1.5 sect 8.7, so I'm not enterely sure how
the signing works, I'll try to read it and commenting back.

I agree, I added the new settings as per issue 61139 this same way exactly.

No idea at the moment, I need to look into the matter.

About the implementation proposal in the thread starting message, I'd
rather use the 'on the fly' method, it's surely more difficult to
implement, I think that in the long run it's better.

Last: presently the default if 1.4 PDF, it seems to me it is fixed in
software, with this new feature, does it mean the PDF Export dialog
needs a new control to select the PDF version ? It appears the
PDFWriter_Impl code already is taking this into account already.
