That's fine. It sounded from some of the discussion like this might be a
non-issue altogether and may end up just getting closed out.

Do you think this one is a significant amount of work? I have a PR out
there that you left some feedback on - I could try to wrap that up? I'm not
hugely glued to this - it could go into a 1.6.x bugfix release, instead.

Yeah, this is a bit of a mess that I need to try to get back to
understanding and resolving. Fine bumping this out to a future bugfix
release.
