Now hold on. That's not what I said. What I said was having a 0.X release of HBase while there is a 1.0 release of Hadoop implies that we think HBase is **less ready** than Hadoop, as in less ready to use. There seem to be a fair number of HBase installs. I think it is ready for use. That does not mean I think always focusing on and improving stability is less important than branding. And at some level all of this renumbering is a marketing exercise, but that's beside the point, it is coming from upstream. - Andy
