- tar missing hbase-native-client (present in tag)
+ can build from source (oracle jdk 1.7.0_80)

bin:
- docs/doap_Hbase.rdf is very out of date (possibly not actually an issue)
- unable to launch using bin/hbase-start.sh (both java 7 and 8), got
following error in .out log file:

WARNING! HBase file layout needs to be upgraded. You have version null and
I want version 8. Consult http://hbase.apache.org/book.html for further
information about upgrading HBase. Is your hbase.rootdir valid? If so, you
may need to run 'hbase hbck -fixVersionFile'.
