+1 for moving stable pointer to 2.2.3 Side note: I'm not sure whether adding a new stable-1 pointer is a good idea, does it mean that "if users still don't want to go 2.x we suggest 1.4.11"? Maybe worth another thread for discussion to keep this thread on track (smile).
