I did a post on stackoverflow for the error:

I can't determine whether it is a bug, but I didn't have problem when enable
expect-continue with a POST/PUT request, but then no issue when disable the
expect-continue. I can provide more details apache logs, but don't know how to
upload these files/snapshots as attachment when raise a issue.
