Hi [~ggregory],

Moving to 5.x versions is not straightforward for us at the moment. Therefore 
it's better if we can get a fix for this issue.

To reproduce the issue, you just need to start the HttpNIOTestServer.jar and 
invoke it using the testclient.jar
