Hi, I have enabled Ranger authorisation from HMS side in my kerberised Ambari cluster(Hive 4.0.1, Ranger 2.6.0). While testing this feature using spark-sql and Trino, I am getting the below Kerberos error in HMS while getting a client connection: SaslException: GSS initiate failed - Caused by: org.ietf.jgss.GSSException: No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Failed to find any Kerberos tgt).
I’ve added the configs used to enable this and further details in the Jira - HIVE-29306: GSSException encountered during HMS Ranger authorization <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-29306>. Could someone, having worked on this feature, help here and tell if another config needs to be added/updated? Thanks Kiran Velumuri
