I found a major issue in working of SQL standard auth - HIVE-6919 . It has a fix, and was reviewed yesterday night, and I have also run the tests. Since sql standard auth is one of major new features in this release, I think it would make sense to roll out another rc with this fix. Thoughts ? Sorry about this late find!
