+1 from me Verified signature and checksum, Ran HCatalog tests with -Phadoop-2 and -Phadoop-1 (a few tests fail in -Phadoop-2, but those are expected issues with the the testcases and not products, and are fixed on trunk) Built jars and did a jar replacement on an installed cluster and tried out a few basic hive commands, all work reasonably. Metastore is able to come up, and responds okay.
