>From what I understand, xcopy automatically acted as if the /Y flag was specified in NT until Windows 2000. It was then that MS brought the command line for NT into line with that of Win 95/98/Me. So, setting COPYCMD=/Y shouldn't affect the behavior of NT 4 because it is not recognized and xcopy will act as if it had been specified anyway. -- Jerry Baker
