I also ask, why? url's ending in / are 80%+ of our requests.


I think we determined that we could safely remove this restriction. I'll make the change and do a bit of testing later this week.

Removing the check for '/' still does not enable mod_cache to cache content keyed to "/". I don't have time to look into this now. If someone wants to investigate and submit a patch, I'll review it.
