Hi there... About two weeks ago, I submitted to Apache bugzilla a little patch, that enables the administrator to specify in httpd.conf which Options may be overridden in .htaccess files (previously, you either let them override Options or not, but since options vary in so many ways, this was not good enough for me) - using a directive named AllowOverrideOpts:
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29310 I'm just interested on the process of getting it into the upstream Apache sources (might be useful to others, and will save us some patching in the future). I'd appreciate some comments - its seems that the little interest in this patch on Bugzilla died a few days after I have shown it in IRC (#Apache-Modules).
