Sounds very good for me. I think there is only one issue left that needs fixing: The fd leaking on Windows for which Bill proposed a backport and I added a comment. Other than that I guess we should only finish the low hanging fruits from the STATUS file and get most of 'the missing one vote' proposals into the release. But this should not hold us back longer from a release as the fd leaking problem does. Regards Rüdiger
