Nope, absolutely not. The old behavior had way too much distinct code between the 9x and nt code paths. As 9x is dead, there is no reason to keep maintaining so much dissimilar code, including two entirely different worker job queue implementations. The new code is drastically simpler, Eric identified (correctly) the missing code, so we should be in good shape now... but follow my other post on bad network stack drivers.
