Is it applicable?

svn technically yes, if applied in numeric order (and ignoring CHANGES).

Does it make sense? It only changes modules/aaa/mod_authnz_ldap.c and there's no API change involved. So IMHO it would make sense to backport unless Eric plans to revert the change in trunk or finds it to risky.
