Thanks for raising that Gianluca. Since the issue isn't exactly a regression and constrained to the version of the commons-lang3, I think we can make a patch into the respective branches. I tried a local fix but want to make sure it can be tested well before making it into a fix. I'll follow up after the release to see how to get a proper fix in.
