[Wearing my data-processing stack hat...] I think the new design makes total
sense. Sliding Windows seems to be quite an alien construct sitting aside from
the caching layer which, correct me if I am wrong, is the central storage
abstraction of Ignite (incubating) concept?

If I am reading you right, the new design will also provide for better
transparency of what a user can do with the data and how the data will be
stored if needed in the persistent storage.

Oh, and with my mentor hat on: it'd be great to eventually have the project
documentation on the project website (I am referring to gridgain.org link).

Thanks,
  Cos
