Yeah, it's about time to release all the good stuff the community has
worked on.

I'm planning to take a look if I can quickly add an initial, experimental
support for Iceberg REST catalogs: IMPALA-13586
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-13586>.
This should enable lightweight Impala deployments, where you wouldn't need
CatalogD, nor HMS.
But if it will require too much time then It's OK to move forward with the
release.
