Hello, I'm installing openoffice 1.9 native rpm on debian system (sarge). I want install the language pack french but I don't know how to use the script OOo_1.9.m79_native_LinuxIntel_langpack_fr.sh : What means the "installation directory" ? (is it the directory where I untar the files *rpm ? or another one, i-e /opt/openoffice ?)
the script tell me : Unpacking and installing... rpm: To install rpm packages on Debian systems, use alien. See README.Debian. error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Aucun fichier ou r�pertoire de ce type (2) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm Done...
