unfortunately no. Please file an issue for it.
I also think that lingucomponent files (dictionaries, ...) should be in
respective language packs, not in the core or where they are now. This is
unfortunately not so easy because of the current mechanisms used while
building module dictionaries.

I forgot that in Linux the GUI isn't part of the OS but patched on
top of it with duck-tape :-)
