Hi

i ask again this question
and the answer is not simple

is something plan so that extensions can be post-installed when installing OOo ?
we are thinking about it but we don't want to make a fast shot. The workaround is to split the extension package content in the unique parts and install them in the usual way. That's not nice, of course, but everything else should be well defined. We have a problem under Solaris where it is not allowed to run any post install scripts. But i agree that we should define the possible ways more concrete. There are some ideas in the air ;-) ...

it is a really important point and it may block soon some developments ?
Can you be more concrete please. Concrete requirements or demand for a feature can always speed up the implementation ;-) As i mentioned before a workaround is in place for code contributions for the OpenOffice code base. If you talk about extensions hosted somewhere else which should be bundled with a specific distribution of OO.org than it is still an open question.
Let us discuss your requirements ...

Thanks
