Hi juergen
i ask again this question
and the answer is not simple
:-)
is something plan so that extensions can be post-installed when
installing OOo ?
we are thinking about it but we don't want to make a fast shot.
why
lets have a solution that works 70% odf cases
then refine
it is a really important point and it may block soon some developments ?
Can you be more concrete please. Concrete requirements or demand for a
feature can always speed up the implementation ;-)
let say DicOOo
it is nearly packageable
DicOOo patching will become urgent soon :-)
so i want to get rid of the actual design asap
so i want to create an addon dicooo that would be deployable at
installation level (under share)
As i mentioned before a workaround is in place for code contributions
for the OpenOffice code base. If you talk about extensions hosted
somewhere else which should be bundled with a specific distribution of
OO.org than it is still an open question.
Let us discuss your requirements ...
this is an option but lets clear licensing issues for the hosting
thanks juergen for your information
Laurent
