Where and when was this discussed?
I can't recall it and couldn't find it on list anywhere ... and this is usually
something that should be discussed openly.
Because exactly the same thing has been discussed in other projects and there
were far more usable solutions (my personal opinion) than just forwarding
everything here.
In the Apache PLC4X and Training podlings we just setup Jira to send "Issue
creations" to the dev list but all others to issues@{podlingname}.apache.org
(of course with the IoTDB reviews@ ... maybe this would be a better option).
The benefit was, that everyone is aware of new issues (especially bugs) coming
in,
but the list isn't polluted with 100s of emails with very little payload
(similar to the github reviews)
