Hi Yuan, I was just trying to get a feeling if this would be an option. I too am staying at 17 in my fork as many systems I want to integrate things into are still locked at 17. But I’m building my new commercial PLC4X drivers in pre 21 (default) and 21 and above versions with multi-version jars, as virtual threads are just too good to miss out on.

Hi Chris, >From what I gather, most of our customers are currently on *JDK 17*, with a small minority still using *JDK 8*. We see almost *zero adoption of JDK 21*. While we might be able to nudge the remaining JDK 8 users to upgrade, forcing a migration for the majority of JDK 17 users would be a *nightmare*. In their eyes, *JDK 17 is still considered a very modern version*.
