Jukka Zitting commented on JCR-1628:
------------------------------------
With my Jackrabbit PMC chair hat on:
You're a Day employee, so does the "Grant license to ASF" bit here mean that
Day makes the JSR 170 spec available under the ALv2? So far the spec has only
been available under the Day spec license that explicitly prevents
"distributing the Specification to third parties".
> Put HTML version of JCR spec on website (for search indexing)

> It would be good to have the JCR spec online (starting with 1.0 now) in an
> HTML version. This has several benefits:
> - no need to go through the many steps needed to download the JCR 1.0 pdf
> from the JSR site
> - more visibility of the one-and-only documentation on JCR
> - less discussion about JCR spec parts because users can inform themselves
> easier than before
> - HTML content will be indexed by search engines, finding JCR information
> will be much better
