[~baedke], [~tripod] is there a reason why not to merge this (eg will it break
anything)?
I can see a future where a change in the repository for a set of paths will be
automatically be pushed to a git repository to make it easier for changes to
configurations to be available in lower or higher environments.
Always having to export a zip file to then extract one file from that really
does not make much sense from a cpu/performance perspective
