but then the approach above is not complete... it only covers the edge case,
where 1 node is reflected as 1 file. but it doesn't cover the more complex
structures, like a dam asset. also it doesn't address the import at all.
btw: I worked with the repo too quite a bit, and I never thought that it is too
slow....
