Actually, looking at this [1], it seems like for Karaf we are *not*
pulling in usocket-jna or pageant. Here's an alternative PR applying
Alex' patch which we could consider:

If we can test this as working, my vote would be for the "remove"
rather than "update version" patch - the less chance of a problem, the
better ;-)
Would anyone miss the support for pageant, assuming that's even working?
