Somewhat confusingly, we've ended up talking about JCLOUDS-250 for which the pull request is https://github.com/jclouds/jclouds/pull/121 in the comments section for this pull request.
This pull request (#123) and JCLOUDS-250 are related in that adding support for automatic segment deletion makes JCLOUDS-250 more severe because it changes from "getting a blob returns extra unrelated contents" to "getting a blob returns incorrect contents and deleting it deletes extra unrelated blobs".
