A framework for developing Semantic Web and Linked Data
applications in Java.
## Activity:
The project has one potential GSoC proposal in progress.
The project introduced a major new feature in the last release,
Jena Elephas (RDF processing support for Hadoop). This has engaged
interest from users both during development and on release.

There are no issues requiring board attention at this time.
