There is a "keep it short" element for reports (at 70 per board meeting
[*], I can see that "short" is good!). I considered and drafted more
like the announcement then felt that the message of "we did something"
was enough. It could say "Amongst several major features in the last
release, ..."
Oh - and the report generator had Bruno joining the PMC as "April 1" :-)
so it gets that from some kind of batch update of LDAP not the svn
commit of the PMC file in private repos, which is the true master, legal
record. (It also had our report date as May at one point - fine tuning
occurred!)
