Andy Seaborne commented on JENA-962:
------------------------------------

Jena2 is RDF 1.0 and Jena3 is RDF 1.1 -- rdfcat will behave differently on
strings. That said, using Jena2-series does not make the data inaccessible to
Jena3.

The idea of a big deprecation warning for at least the initial Jena 3.0.0
release strikes a reasonable balance.

> A package {{jena.cmdline}} exists in {{jena-core}} supporting CLI action, but
> it should not be needed. It should be removed, and any functionality still in
> use migrated to the {{jena-base}} package {{jena.cmd}}.
