Andy Seaborne commented on JENA-1088:
-------------------------------------
The datasets probably are different names, you just can't see that. In
addition, multiple adjacent spaces get lots in the UI.
Proposal:
# When creating a dataset, trim the incoming name of leading and trailing
spaces.
# If the name still has spaces, hence internal spaces, it's an error.
This is in {{ActionDatasets.execPostContainer}}. Dataset name is cleaned up in
{{DataAccessPoint.canonical}}.
> Fuseki 2 allows duplicate datasets when using only spaces in name

> Was testing Fuseki 2, before reviewing the docs, and decided to experiment a
> few things. Looks like if you use just spaces in the dataset name, you are
> allowed to create a new one, and it gets the name "/". Which is fine.
> But if you try that again with another random number of spaces, it inserts
> another dataset with the same name.
