[~andy.seaborne], I agree with your points, but for the future, couldn't we
test the general case of including query params with a mock endpoint? We don't
have to interpret them at the endpoint, just see to it that they were passed.
I have to admit, I haven't ever seen a non-standard parameterization like
MarkLogic's either, so no matter how easy or hard to test, this feature seems
to me also to be a bit outside the bounds.
