Andy Seaborne commented on JENA-1434:
-------------------------------------

The question is whether it happens on first warning, and parsing stops
immediately, or whether it continues to generate all warnings. The example UC
has 3 warnings.

One way is to treat warnings as errors, the other is to count and decide after
parsing.

(FWIW: the whole thing can be done in the shell by piping stderr to a file or
string and checking if the file/string is empty.)

> I would like to use `riot --validate` as part of an integration test for a
> system that generates Turtle. Ideally, the exit status for the riot command
> would be non-zero, indicating a problem, if the input was not valid. However,
> I see an exit status of zero always:
> {noformat}
> $ riot --validate alert.ttl && echo 'exit status is: ' $?
