I think it's generally OK, but it looks wrong to have the Twitter logos next to the ASF logo, as they apply to JMeter and not the ASF. I did another mockup of just the index page here: http://people.apache.org/~sebb/jmeter7/ The spacing probably needs to be adjusted to move the Twitter logos closer to the JMeter logo. > > Le 26/10/2013 14:55, Philippe Mouawad a ecrit : > >> Agree >> Sorry milamber, I don't know why I thought there were different sizes for >> logos, mixed with Apache con sponsoring. >> >> But I see other projects use a feather instead of the full logo. >> >> But sebb proposal should fix the place issue. >> >> I think the 2 twitter buttons should be next to each other. >> >> Regards >> >> On Saturday, October 26, 2013, sebb wrote: >> >>> We do need to include the ApacheCon logo, but that could be put at the >>> bottom of the LHS menu, as is done in Commons, e.g. >>> >>> http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-lang/ >>> >>> This would give more space on the header. >>> >>> Also, I think the About Twitter link should have a Twitter logo to >>> make it stand out better. >>> >>> >>> On 26 October 2013 13:47, Milamber <[email protected]> wrote: >>>> >>>> Le 26/10/2013 13:17, Philippe Mouawad a ecrit : >>>> >>>>> It's better but still issue on mobile. >>>>> Would't be better to put it on left and move asf logo at right and use >>>>> smaller asf logo ? >>>> >>>> >>>> Which smaller asf logo? >>>> >>>> >>>> New version (with asf logo at right) >>>> https://people.apache.org/~milamber/wwwjmeter3/ >>>> <https://people.apache.org/%7Emilamber/wwwjmeter3/index.html> >>>> >>>> New version without ASF logo >>>> https://people.apache.org/~milamber/wwwjmeter4/ >>>> <https://people.apache.org/%7Emilamber/wwwjmeter4/> >>>> >>>> >>>> The others: >>>> https://people.apache.org/~milamber/wwwjmeter/ >>>> >>>> https://people.apache.org/~milamber/wwwjmeter2/ >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>>> On Saturday, October 26, 2013, Milamber wrote: >>>>> >>>>>> Like this : >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> https://people.apache.org/~**milamber/wwwjmeter2/< >>> >>> https://people.apache.org/~milamber/wwwjmeter2/>< >>>>>> >>>>>> https://people.apache.org/%**7Emilamber/wwwjmeter2/< >>> >>> https://people.apache.org/%7Emilamber/wwwjmeter2/> >>>>>> >>>>>> 2 buttons >>>>>> + >>>>>> JMeter on Twitter under About section >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> Le 26/10/2013 12:57, sebb a ecrit : >>>>>> >>>>>>> On 26 October 2013 12:52, Philippe Mouawad < >>> >>> [email protected]> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> wrote: >>>>>>> >>>>>>>> Right alignment is a good idea. >>>>>>>> But I would keep the 2 buttons: >>>>>>>> - one to follow >>>>>>>> - one to tweet, >>>>>>>> so it's easy for users to both follow and tweet. >>>>>>>> It also allows tweeting different pages like best practices, >>> >>> changes... >>>>>>> >>>>>>> Would they fit OK one above the other? >>>>>>> >>>>>>> We need to fix the auto created text, i made a mistake in content, >>>>>>> jmeter >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> url appears twice. >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> I agree also current look is not nice for the 2 buttons, so we would >>>>>>>> need >>>>>>>> to maybe put the one above the other ? >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> I think very few people go to community link, but agree to also add >>>>>>>> link. >>>>>>>> >>>>>>> Perhaps add to About section instead? >>>>>>> >>>>>>> Regards >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> On Saturday, October 26, 2013, sebb wrote: >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> On 26 October 2013 12:14, Milamber <[email protected] >>>>>>>> <javascript:;>> >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> wrote: >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>> Perhaps, only the following button, >>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> Not sure which one you mean ... >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> with right alignment on the page (to put the button at right of >>> >>> the >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> screen) >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> Good idea. >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> And add a twitter link (tw../ApacheJMeter) und >> >> >> >
