The 0.9.9 release will go out today some time. There are some things
that need to be done:
- docs updated for 099 newness
- features, notable fixes, new benchmarks to report on release announcement
- rails-integration needs a second new release, 1.1.1, that uses 099 by
default
- bloggity blogging...get your posts ready
- current rails testing numbers would be nice
- close release in JIRA
- maven push of artifacts
- releases of jruby, jruby-complete, (others?) to dist dir
- announcement on jruby.org (codehaus)
And of course:
- if you have a chance, and haven't been using trunk, test your apps out
on trunk ASAP.
Your help in these tasks will be greatly appreciated. I have done the
following myself this evening:
- punted a few bugs to 1.0
- re-tested mephisto in WEBrick and in GlassFish with rails-integration
1.1 and confirmed everything's working (with more steps than I'd like,
but that's another issue)
- applied a few small patches that came in over the weekend and resolved
a few bugs that were reported to be working now
I'm continuing to test out a demo I want to do for JavaOne, but I'll try
to check in again later. It's been a long night, but 099 is looking
pretty solid from my end.
