It depends on whether we want to support older versions of rails.
I'm really not sure whether it's something people would use or not.

Absolutely -- one issue though -- do you think you could make the
rails-integration tests not depend on specific versions of Rails, or
do you think that's necessary? I had to install both 1.1.6 and 1.2.2
(which are both obsoleted by 1.2.3) in order to sucessfully run the
tests.
