Webrick not sending assets with proper mime type
------------------------------------------------
Key: JRUBY-4244
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-4244
Project: JRuby
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Application Error
Affects Versions: JRuby 1.4
Environment: osx 10.6, jruby 1.4
Reporter: brad Robertson
Just upgraded to Snow Leopard and decided to upgrade Jruby too. Now when I run
a rails app, in safari the console complains about all my static assets (js,
css and img's) with the warning:
Resource interpreted as (stylesheet|script|other|image) but transferred with
MIME type text/html.
I don't know a ton about how this stuff works (mimetypes and whatnot) but I'm
assuming this is an issue with webrick ?? I've also noticed (and I can only
assume it's because of this issue) that my pages now render differently locally
than they do deployed to a testing server. Div's don't line up the same etc...
This is obviously a problem for developing/designing locally.
